Corromide 4.6

More crystalline nylon with heat stabiliser additive offering improved performance at higher temperatures and all round better characteristics than standard Nylon 6 or Nylon 66. Available in a standard red/brown colour. Advantages O excellent resistance to thermal ageing in air, hot oils and greases

Corromide 6E

Cost effective thermoplastic with optimum combination of mechanical strength, stiffness and toughness making a good general-purpose material. Standard colour is Natural/White but also available in Black. Advantages O good mechanical strength O good wear resistance O cost effective O high mechanical damping ability O very good machinability O good sliding properties Corromide 6E has better impact strength and mechanical damping ability than Corromide 66E

Corromide CFQ

This bearing grade is similar in properties to our Corromide COF bearing grade, but the lubricant used is approved for food contact, making it ideal for use in food machinery applications, avaulable as standard in a Natural/cream colour.

Corromide CHS

This heat stabilised material combines the same good physical properties of cast nylon with increased machinablility and performance at higher temperatures. Available in a standard Blue colour.

This material is similar in properties to Corromide CN, with the addition of an MoS2 filler, giving improved wear resistance. Available in a Black colour.

Cast nylon specially formulated to give optimum performance in underwater applications. Available as standard in a Yellow colour.

This material is the general engineering grade of cast Nylon 6, standard colour is a Natural/cream.

Corromide COF

This bearing grade of cast nylon contains an oil additive, resulting in a self lubricating material for faster speeds and higher loads. This grade of material exhibits lower water absorption than standard cast nylon grades. Available as standard in a Green colour.

This material is formulated with a solid lubricant additive for improved wear resistance and lower friction, available in as standard in a Grey colour.

Corroplas AC

Very rigid, stable engineering material, with very low moisture absorption, able to retain electrical and mechanical properties in humid conditions. Available as standard in Natural/White and Black colours.

Corroplas Acrylic

PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) Available in cast or extruded grades, ideal for use as fabricated items. It offers a high optical quality in the clear grade, good mechanical strength and tensile strength. Sheets are available in a wide and varied range of colours, ideal for display, signage and advertisement applications.

This is an impact resistant polycarbonate material, unbreakable under most circumstances. Available in Clear sheet, rod and tube form, for sight glasses, inspection panels, machine guards, windows etc. Sheets are also available in Opal and Black colours, and Grey or Brown tints.

Highly crystalline thermoplastic, very rigid & stable material, able to retain flexural, tensile and compressive properties even at elevated temperatures, ideal for all round high performance applications. Available as standard in a Natural/Beige colour.

Corroplas PETG

This is a high impact Polyester grade material, available in Clear sheet form. This material provides a higher impact strength than the Corroplas Acrylic and is easier to fabricate than the Corroplas PC.

A premium thermoplastic with thermal, mechanical and electrical properties that generally outperform those of nylon and acetal. Available as standard in a Natural/White colour.

Corroplas PTFE

Widely used thermoplastic, with a unique combination of outstanding characteristics ideal for adverse temperature conditions. Available as standard in a Natural/White colour.

Corroplas PTFE CF

This material is a filled grade of the widely used PTFE thermoplastic, containing 5-35% carbon additive. This results in much better bearing performance and increased wear resistance. Available as standard in a Black colour.

Corroplas PVC

Low cost engineering material with good mechanical properties, easy to process and fabricate and widely used for a variety of applications. Available as standard in a Grey colour for industrial/engineering applications, or in Clear for guarding and curtain strips, although a wide range of colours are available on request.

A semi-crystalline unreinforced fluoropolymer combining good mechanical and electrical properties, with excellent chemical resistance. Available as standard in a Natural/White colour.

Corrothene C1000

This material is virgin grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) with ceramic additives. An alternative to the Corrothene W1000, G1000 and M1000 grades where higher load and higher abrasion resistance is required, under severe sliding and abrasion conditions. Available as standard in a Light Green colour.

This material is a High Density Polyethylene and is available in Natural/White colour as standard or Black colour.

Ir is an alternative, lower grade of material than the Corrothene W1000, G1000 and /M1000 grades, and the Corrothene W500, T500 and M500 grades.  It does not offer

Corrothene MD1000

This material is virgin grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) that is Food approved, and Metal Detectable, specifically developed for use in the food manufacturing industry. It has the same excellent wear properties as the standard Corrothene W1000 but being more visable in its standard Blue (RAL 5010) colour, with the added advantage of being detectable by standard metal detector equipment.

This material is virgin grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) and is used in a range of applications. It has excellent wear properties and is often used as a cost effective substitute for Corroplas PTFE in all but the most demanding environments.
