More crystalline nylon with heat stabiliser additive offering improved performance at higher temperatures and all round better characteristics than standard Nylon 6 or Nylon 66. This material is virgin grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) with ceramic additives. An alternative to the Corrothene W1000, G1000 and M1000 grades where higher load and higher abrasion resistance is required, under severe sliding and abrasion conditions. This material is virgin grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) that is Food approved, and Metal Detectable, specifically developed for use in the food manufacturing industry. It has the same excellent wear properties as the standard Corrothene W1000 but being more visable in its standard Blue (RAL 5010) colour, with the added advantage of being detectable by standard metal detector equipment.
